3D Printing 2 Change

Program Overview
3D Printing 2 Change is dedicated to educating students about the vast potential of 3D printing technology. Students will not only learn how to use CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools to design and 3D print, they will also apply their skills to helping others. In collaboration with the philanthropic organization, Enabling the Future, students will be able to help fund the 3D printing of prosthetic hands for children in need.

Students will be able to:

  • Use their creativity and knowledge to design CAD objects for fundraising events
  • Learn how to use CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools
  • Learn how to 3D print items designed with CAD tools
  • Promote 3D printing technology in the community
  • Use 3D printing to change people’s lives by fundraising for 3D philanthropic organizations
