Thank you for your interest in Valley Christian Junior High School! To help you better understand the application process and the most comprehensive ways to experience just what our dynamic school has to offer, please note the following:

  • APPLICATIONS for the 2020-2021 school year are completed online and are required for all new, incoming students. Click APPLY NOW to access the application.

  • We look forward to meeting you in person!  We encourage you to sign up for one of our group campus tours. 
  • STUDENT SHADOWING will take place during the 2019-2020 school year by appointment only. Your child will be paired with a Valley Christian Junior High student with similar academic and extracurricular interests. Reserve a shadow date today.

  • PERSONAL INTERVIEW may be requested prior to acceptance. If an interview is needed, you will be contacted. 

  • PLACEMENT TESTING may be requested by the principal or parent after acceptance.

Admissions decision notifications will be mailed mid-February, to all students whose applications have been completed by January 17, 2020.

We believe that prayer is a vital part of the application process. We will be praying for you and your family as you consider the future education of our child. We trust you will seek God’s guidance as well.

          Tour days are Tuesdays at 9:00am and Wednesdays at 1:00pm.

Thank you for your interest in Valley Christian Junior High School! To help you better understand the application process and the most comprehensive ways to experience just what our dynamic school has to offer, please note the following:

  • APPLICATIONS are now closed for the 2019-2020 school year. Applications for the 2020-2021 school year will be available online in September of 2019.
  • OPEN HOUSE is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 2-4pm. Online registration begins October 1.

              For those unable to attend our Open House, group campus tours are available on select Tuesdays at 1pm and Wednesdays at 10am. 

  • PLACEMENT TESTING may be required if the previous year’s standardized testing cannot be provided, or if requested by our principal. If a placement test is needed, you will be contacted.
  • PERSONAL INTERVIEW may be requested prior to acceptance. If an interview is needed, you will be contacted.   

Admissions decision notifications will be mailed mid-February, to all students whose applications have been completed by January 18, 2019. The next admissions notification for completed applications will be the 15th of each month thereafter, until spots are full.

Required Application Materials

The application will not be processed until all the following materials are received by VCS.

  1. Online application
  2. Non-refundable application fee of $100
  3. Student Questionnaire
    • Form provided; this must be HANDWRITTEN and turned in by email
  4. Two essays both HANDWRITTEN by the student
    • Essay questions are available on the Student Questionnaire.
  5. Official transcripts
    • Must include grades from the last two years of school and grades of the current school year
    • Must be translated to English and mailed to VCS in a sealed envelope
  6. Two Educators Recommendations
    • Form provided
    • Once completed by the current English teacher
    • Once completed by any of the following teachers: history, science, or religion
    • Must be mailed by the teachers to Valley Christian Schools in a sealed envelope or emailed directly by the teachers from their school emails
  7. Math Teacher Recommendation
    • Form provided
    • Must be completed by the current math teacher
    • Must be mailed by the teachers to Valley Christian Schools in a sealed envelope or emailed directly by the teachers from their school emails
  8. Parent Statement orClergy Recommendation
    • Must demonstrate that the parents are supportive of the student receiving a Christian education.
    • Note: Applicants do not need to be Christians to be admitted to Valley Christian Schools but should be spiritually open to learn more about the Christian faith shown through the Bible and the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
  9. English Proficiency Test Result (one of the followings)

  11. Immunization Records
