In accordance with our belief that educating a child does not solely occur within the four walls of a classroom or strictly through traditional methods, VCS strives to educate the whole child.  Fostering developed faith in Jesus Christ is central to the core of Christian education, and we provide many opportunities that encourage this at VCS. Through traditional classroom means, we offer academic Bible classes for all grade levels, weekly Wednesday Chapels, Spiritual Emphasis Week, and programs that allow students to put their faith and caring for others into action.
 

An important part of the Spiritual Life at Valley Christian Schools is Chapel. Weekly Chapel services are one of the ways that students receive spiritual infusion and encouragement in their faith. The word infusion has Latin roots meaning “to pour in” and “to soak up.” VCS uses Chapel as an opportunity to pour this inspiration into our students, and this weekly renewal gives strength and balance to their lives. Students have the opportunity to soak up truth and express their hearts toward God and each other through quality music, teaching, Scripture reading, and prayer.

• APPLICATIONS for the 2020-2021 school year are completed online and are required for all new, incoming students. Click APPLY NOW to access the application.

• We look forward to meeting you in person!  We encourage you to sign up for one of our group campus tours. 
  

• STUDENT SHADOWING will take place during the 2019-2020 school year by appointment only. Your child will be paired with a Valley Christian Junior High student with similar academic and extracurricular interests. Reserve a shadow date today.

Admissions decision notifications will be mailed mid-February, to all students whose applications have been completed by January 17, 2020.

We believe that prayer is a vital part of the application process. We will be praying for you and your family as you consider the future education of our child. We trust you will seek God’s guidance as well.

OPEN HOUSE is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 2-4pm. 
Pre-register to avoid the lines.

          For those unable to attend Open House, group campus tours begin November 15, 2016. 
          Tour days are Tuesdays at 9:00am and Wednesdays at 1:00pm.

Thank you for your interest in Valley Christian Junior High School! To help you better understand the application process and the most comprehensive ways to experience just what our dynamic school has to offer, please note the following:

• APPLICATIONS are now closed for the 2019-2020 school year. Applications for the 2020-2021 school year will be available online in September of 2019.

• OPEN HOUSE is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2018, from 2-4pm. Online registration begins October 1.
  

            For those unable to attend our Open House, group campus tours are available on select Tuesdays at 1pm and Wednesdays at 10am. 

• STUDENT SHADOWING takes place by appointment only. Your child will be paired with a VCJH student who has similar academic/extracurricular interests. Reserve a shadow date today. 

• PLACEMENT TESTING may be required if the previous year’s standardized testing cannot be provided, or if requested by our principal. If a placement test is needed, you will be contacted.

• PERSONAL INTERVIEW may be requested prior to acceptance. If an interview is needed, you will be contacted.   

Admissions decision notifications will be mailed mid-February, to all students whose applications have been completed by January 18, 2019. The next admissions notification for completed applications will be the 15^th of each month thereafter, until spots are full.
