Valley Christian was the only Bay Area school participating in the Southern California event.
The VCHS team earned 1st Runner Up Grand Champion, with Emily James and Emily Hesler taking 1st and 2nd place in the Senior Solo category and Emily James was named Dancer of the Year.
Top award for HS Jazz Ensemble in Division AA, and Second Place for the VCHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble. JH Studio Band came in sixth and took home a trophy!

This is the 12th year that VCS has hosted this festival. High School students earning Command Performance, the highest award, are eligible to participate in the annual ACSI Honor Orchestra.

A VCHS Senior music major, Vasconi joins 710 outstanding teenage artists from 44 states across the nation and will receive cash awards, mentorship and professional development opportunities.

"Angel Bags" will be taken by the high school dancers to a shelter during this holiday season.

Junior High and High School Strings students will perform in their fall concert on Friday, November 9 at 7pm in the Conservatory Hall. Free admission.

Come to the Meet & Greet with 2015 VCHS alumni Anja Kotar and Dimitri Morris at 5pm in the Conservatory Hall. Concert starts at 7pm! A 2018 graduate of Berklee College of Music, Anja was most recently a contestant on American Idol.
With a score of 73.75, their highest this season, Valley Christian's Open Air Ensemble enjoyed the top spot against 7 other Southern California Class 1A Bands hosted by Western Band Association. The also son Best in Class Visual Performance, Best in Class Music Performance, Best in Class General Effect, and Best in Class Colorguard.
The BOA Regional was a huge competition held at Diablo Valley College on October 20.
OAE won second place in Class 1A competition, and took the caption awards for best general effect and best visual effect.
The high school and junior high choirs will perform in the sacred setting of the historical mission. Admission is free.

The Parker String Quartet is currently the quartet in residence at Harvard University. The VCHS strings students were invited to San Jose State University for a special encounter.
